Schoberwirt in Munich

we ordered the Christmas roast (2 x 1/2 duck) from the Schoberwirt - the service was excellent, the food excellent, the portions large, and I can bring my own bowls and pots with me for transport - exemplary - with great pleasure again

Highly decent. Tender duck, juicy meatloaf, good portions. And they are friendly too.

Excellent food. Service very nice. Very good quality, wines. Unfortunately, there was no decoration in the entire restaurant. E.g. autumn decoration. I would be happy if there is a Christmas decoration. Then there is also the fifth star.

We would have liked to have eaten something here at the Schoberwirt but the reception from the boss was really not very friendly. The waiter, however, was attentive and courteous.

We stayed in a hotel near the Deutsches Museum. From there I looked for a Bavarian tavern. Since it was during the week, there was a free table. The restaurant was well attended, but all safety clearances were observed. The waiters were very accommodating, wore masks and were very friendly. The inn has its own winery. The Pinot Blanc from their own winery is highly recommended and has won records. We ate roast pork and chanterelles with bread dumplings. The price-performance ratio is outstanding. I wouldn't go to any inn in downtown Munich. Apart from us, there were no obvious tourists. :-D I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to eat out in Munich. The menu is two pages long. There is not only Bavarian with a lot of meat, but also vegetarian. I look forward to the next visit.

I went to eat there spontaneously with my wife. The staff was very friendly, the food came very quickly, tasted good and was plentiful. Can I recommend it without hesitation.

A very well-kept house, I found it really very clean. The staff was also warm and really friendly. You waited a little longer for food, but it was correspondingly full. It is advisable to make a reservation. The volume was negative because the next table didn't talk to each other, but yelled at each other (5 people younger than us). In general it was rather loud, but in principle expected. When it comes to eating, I'm split in two. There were only four vegetarian options to choose from. However, a meat-heavy menu is to be expected in a Bavarian inn. In addition, the dishes change. The food was okay, the side salad was super fresh and crunchy and simply delicious. The plates on the next tables looked pretty tasty too. In terms of price, I would describe it as appropriate, higher mid-range, but not too expensive.

I've been visiting this place for years, but it is one of my favorites. The atmosphere and the staff are great. Over the years I have tried various dishes and there has never been anything to complain about. The food is freshly prepared and my "special requests" and changes are always taken into account. The landlord and his team always try to make sure that the guests are fine.

Nice that there is still such a traditional tavern in the middle of Munich. The place is very clean and well-kept! You eat here with an appetite 😊 The food was delicious! The host and the staff very friendly! We have felt very comfortable here! Prices are perfectly fine! Keep it up !

Service friendly, beer good, but NEVER order the cevapcici !!! Had nothing to do with Cevape, so nothing at all. No experiments, please, just do the standard pub cuisine (roast pork, roast onion, schnitzel ...) and it's good. I should have known better ...

I was accompanied by Schoberwirt again on Sunday. It was very nice again. We sat in the beer garden. Food great and as always a very nice service. Even if you just want to drink a few beers, I always get a place in the evening. Thank you very much Alexander. See you soon.

5 people stayed at the Schoberwirt last Thursday. Food was great and had a great evening with very friendly staff! Which particularly stand out here. We can only recommend the shop!

Great place to dine

Was delicious. Super Wiener Schnitzel, fabulous potato salad and very good salad. Very attentive service! The price is perfectly okay, or relatively cheap for Munich conditions.

A hidden 💎! Sure it is old style by interior. But the atmosphere is great. Young and old goes to meet and eat. Well, don't forget, they have German local 🍺! And the prices are good. Fast service. LGBTQI* people are welcome!

Great place with a rustic feel to it and very friendly staff. Been quiet on both my visits (both of which were on a Sat afternoon!) but one that I like and will continue to come back to ..... you should too! Lowenbrau is the beer served.

Its a memorable Bavarian Cusine experience!!!! A very confortable and atmosphere and not over decoraded, like most Bavarian Restaurants with a modern ambiente music. The food is exellent the owner from Austrian based almost 35 years in munich, host every single guest as a possible. In Summer we had the opportunity to enjoy the terrace at back yard. As the receptionist from our hotel recomend: No excited to call and do a Reservation, sometime is very busy. Or just be pacient and wait for the next free table.
